LinkedIn Best Practices for Haven Outreach

  1. Send between 8–10 AM local time of the recipient (higher acceptance rate)
  2. Don't send more than 10 connection requests per day (LinkedIn throttles at ~100/week)
  3. If they accept but don't respond: Wait 24 hours, then send a short follow-up DM: "Thanks for connecting, [Name]. Happy to set up a quick 20-minute intro call whenever convenient — [calendly or phone]."
  4. If they don't accept within 14 days: Move on to Touch 3 (value drop email) anyway. Some professionals don't check LinkedIn requests regularly.
  5. Profile check before sending: Make sure Greg's and Jason's LinkedIn profiles reference Haven Capital Partners prominently. The recipient will click the profile before accepting.
