LinkedIn Best Practices for Haven Outreach
- Send between 8–10 AM local time of the recipient (higher acceptance rate)
- Don't send more than 10 connection requests per day (LinkedIn throttles at ~100/week)
- If they accept but don't respond: Wait 24 hours, then send a short follow-up DM: "Thanks for connecting, [Name]. Happy to set up a quick 20-minute intro call whenever convenient — [calendly or phone]."
- If they don't accept within 14 days: Move on to Touch 3 (value drop email) anyway. Some professionals don't check LinkedIn requests regularly.
- Profile check before sending: Make sure Greg's and Jason's LinkedIn profiles reference Haven Capital Partners prominently. The recipient will click the profile before accepting.
